Holyport College. In September 2014, Eton opened, and became the sole educational sponsor for, Holyport College, a new purpose-built co-educational state boarding and day school that provides free education for around 500 pupils
Our partnership with Holyport College, an Ofsted outstanding state-maintained boarding school is one of the strongest, closest and most reciprocal cross-sector partnerships in the UK. Last year, Eton Connect coordinated activities for over 5,400 state school pupils, with over 2,000 pupils continuing to visit our museums and collections each year.

Holyport College. Holyport College is an exceptional state boarding school near Maidenhead, which has been part of a very close partnership with Eton since 2014. Founded under the Free Schools scheme, it welcomed its first students on 3 September 2014 and was opened officially by HM The Queen on 28 November 2014.
28 Nov 2014. Her Majesty the Queen has officially opened Holyport College, a new non-selective state free boarding school, of which Eton College is the sole educational sponsor. The Queen, accompanied by His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh, spent time touring the school and unveiled a plaque.
