Ella Summer Purnell (born 17 September 1996) is an English actress. She began her career as a child actress in West End theatre and films such as Never Let Me Go (2010), Intruders (2011), and Maleficent (2014). Her other films include Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children (2016), Churchill (2017), and Army of the Dead (2021).
Ela também apareceu como personagem principal no filme independente, WildLike (2014), e como uma versão jovem da personagem Malévola no filme Maleficent (2014) da Disney. Maleficent is a 2014 American fantasy film starring Angelina Jolie as Maleficent in a live-action retelling of her villainous role in Walt Disney 's 1959 animated film Sleeping Beauty, itself an adaptation of Charles Perrault 's 1697 fairy tale.
