See, I think that Disco Elysium could be a novel or a TV show, whereas Baldur's Gate 3 has more of a game -y mouthfeel than Disco Elysium.
17 de jan. de 2020 · Feels like a superficial recommendation just because most of what you posted parallels Disco Elysium more thematically than aesthetically, but Dishonored I and II share a similar style and presentation with DE, and they're also just great games in their own right.

Disco Elysium was extremely focused on delivering a curated experience with a solid amount of player expression, but it can't compare to bg3 in that regard. 26 de jul. de 2024 · Disco Elysium is vastly superior to BG3 - better writing, better characters, much more interesting setting and mechanisms. At best, BG3 is an improvement of the Larian formula from the Divinity Original Sin games, but the game doesn't really do anything really interesting with it.

Yeah, the way 13 Sentinels' story was able to tie seemingly everything together was impressive, but DE just eclipses it imo on characterization, depth, themes… almost everything, really. 1.
18 de fev. de 2023 · There are dozens of us. Disco Elysium is a game i just dont get. On paper it was everything i always wanted in a game. But then i played it and was so utterly bored that maybe my dream game was just a bad idea. I find the game writing more "annoying person who really wants you to think theyre smart" than actually smart.
