31 de ago. de 2021 · CoinGecko's web app is significantly faster and more stable. Often actions don't go through on CoinMarketCap but it makes up for it in features and its portfolio management IMHO. As I mentioned earlier, at first glance CoinMarketCap just looks like a newer version of CoinGecko to me and seems to use a modern framework that would explain its heaviness.
First Bitrue and now CoinGecko. Hedera is actively pushing for retail awareness and adoption like never before. I definitely sense a shift in strategy. I suspect this bull run will be very successful due to the enterprise use cases and retail awareness. LFG
11 de set. de 2021 · Alternate solution: you can create read only api's for the exchanges that you are using & import them in blockfolio app it will load all transaction automatically. (Remember this will take some time to sync ) I'd suggest Coinstats, but I don't if they have automatic connection with coingecko portifolio, although I think they use coingecko API ...
23 de ago. de 2020 · I use the Coingecko app and it’s great. You can create a favourites list to follow only the coins you want to see and can even add your amounts to keep track of your gains or losses. They also have a cool currency calculator and the candies for daily use is a free reward. The news feed is regularly updated as well. I’m a big fan of Coingecko.

I tend to look at both, them candies are tasty too!

I have posted an example screenshot of a small trade I did today - showing a 72 USD total profit when I sold 30% of my holdings for 97 USD. My portfolio is full of these weird little mistakes.
Why i prefer using coingecko over cmc: 1.ERC20 Contract addresses are listed on the coin's page. 2.Im not sure what their criteria for coin "rankings" are besides market cap, but as an example, coingecko lists polkadot as a top 10 coin by volume, but on cmc it's in the top 2000. 3.AFAIK I haven't seen any "paid shillings" like the recent band ...
