The story of Charles becoming the killer doll became a legend in the Child's Play universe, as a movie about him had been made in Hollywood in Seed of Chucky, called " Chucky Goes Psycho ". In the Child's Play 2 novel, Charles' mother was an alcoholic dwarf who was abusive to him for being taller than her.
