É um filme quase mudo, da herança de um Buster Keaton, no sentido de não haver tantos diálogos e de ser um cinema mais físico, apesar do CGI.

Depois, a figura de Jack - papel de Tom Burke -, um soldado do tirano Immortan Joe, é o ponto mais frágil da história, dividindo o papel de mentor e par amoroso de Furiosa. A relação de ambos não se desenrola e parece mais uma muleta para o conjunto.
