He is not but he lets viruses get in your computer more easily. No, for something to identify as a virus it has to spread and make damage, bonzi doesn't do that but it does come with a spyware.

When bonzi buddy became a meme in 2013 and these later were revealed to have existed, they were big in demand. Since so few were ever sold, though, their base value was pretty high.
