In June 2023, it was announced that a new Birds of Prey ongoing series would launch on September 6, 2023 as a part of the Dawn of DC relaunch initiative. The series will be written by Kelly Thompson , drawn by Leonardo Romero, colored by Jordie Bellaire, and lettered by Clayton Cowles.

Birds of Prey was the first ongoing series to feature the eponymous female superhero team and accumulated 127 issues during its publication from January 1999 until April 2009.
