Early Career
Barry Bonds is the son of Bobby Bonds and the godson of Hall of Famer Willie Mays. His aunt, Rosie Bonds, competed in the 1964 Olympics in track and field. He is also a distant cousin of Reggie Jackson. His brother, Bobby Bonds, Jr., was drafted but never made it to the big leagues.
