Achnaba is the primary cemetery for our parish. and is still in use. (the church is now for sale 2022) It is in the grounds of Achnaba kirk, (also Ardchattan church) that was the primary place of worship until it was closed in 2019.

Built in 1836. Closed for worship - 28 Jan 2019. This building has always been open for visitors but will now be locked. The key is available by arrangement. A GREAT Scottish soul passed away just before Christmas, and his family have now lain the mortal remains of Aonghas MacNeacail to rest at Achnaba Cemetery on Loch Etive’s beautiful shores in Argyll.
