I chose to attend Yale Law School because I wanted to direct my own education. Twenty-five years later, freedom and flexibility are still the best things about this place. As a YLS student, you get to decide what you want to study.

If I had to identify the two things which taken in combination make Yale Law School such a special place, it would have to be the school’s longstanding commitment to intellectualism, and its equally long-lived and deep-seated commitment to public service.
Yale Law School offers roughly 30 clinics that provide hands-on, practical experience in the law on a diverse range of subject matters. The Tsai Leadership Program trains students to be numerate, tech-savvy global citizens by bringing leading experts to our classrooms and providing an abundance of robust curricular and programmatic opportunities.
Stanford and Yale Law Schools both have 25th percentile LSAT scores of 171 or above and 75th percentile scores reaching 175 and 177 respectively, indicating a highly accomplished student body. Yale, however, has a slightly lower acceptance rate at 5.6%, reflecting a higher level of competitiveness for admission.
