Worcester is often known as the friendly college, and it really is true! We have a great community across year groups and everyone is so welcoming. Maddy, 4th year Mathematics. Worcester College (/ ˈ w ʊ s t ər / ⓘ WUUST-ər) is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in England. The college was founded in 1714 by the benefaction of Sir Thomas Cookes, 2nd Baronet (1648–1701) of Norgrove, Worcestershire, whose coat of arms was adopted by the college.

About the college. Worcester College aims to provide a friendly and supportive academic and social environment where every member can thrive. In addition to a wide range of support systems, Worcester offers excellent facilities for sport as well as strong musical and theatrical traditions.
Accommodation for three years within the College, or just over the road, with plenty of en-suites available. Undergraduate accommodation. There’s a society for everyone and everything, from Porridge to Wild Swimming. We have our own student magazine, one of Oxford’s oldest drama societies, two choirs and our own orchestra: Worchestra.
