Brontë House our Junior School, is situated only half a mile from the Senior School and our Admissions Team can organise a visit to either site. Perhaps you may wish arrange a visit to both sites to fully appreciate the full Grovian experience from age 2 through to 18.
Sunday 7th January from 6pm. Term Begins. 8.30am Monday 8th January. Half term. 4pm Friday 9th February to 8.30am Monday 19th February. (boarders return Sunday 18th February from 6pm) Term Ends. 4pm Wednesday 27th March. Summer Term 2024.

Woodhouse Grove School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school located in the heart of Yorkshire providing a seamless education from 2 to 18 years. Boarding is from Year 7. Our prep school, Brontë House, is set in large, beautiful grounds with sports fields, a separate woodland and play area for our Nursery pupils and ample parking for stress free drop off and collection.
Initially we will invite you to visit the school and fill in our application form and pay our Application fee. Then we will request a report from the applicant’s current school. Following consideration of the report, children may then be invited to a Taster Day which will include sitting our Entrance Exams in maths and English and an interview with one of our Deputy Heads.
