William George Spencer Cavendish, 6.° Duque de Devonshire (Paris, 21 de maio de 1790 – Derbyshire, 18 de janeiro de 1858) foi um nobre e político inglês, mais conhecido como o "Duque Solteirão".
William George Spencer Cavendish, 6th Duke of Devonshire, KG, PC (21 May 1790 – 18 January 1858), styled Marquess of Hartington until 1811, was an English peer, courtier and Whig politician. Known as the "Bachelor Duke", he served as Lord Chamberlain from 1827 to 1828 and again from 1830 to 1834.

Known as the 'Bachelor Duke', the 6th Duke of Devonshire was extravagant and charming. He was a lover of the arts and greatly added to the Devonshire Collections. With Joseph Paxton, he made many improvements to the Chatsworth Garden.

Devonshire was succeeded by his eldest son, William Cavendish, who became the fifth Duke of Devonshire. He had already succeeded his mother as seventh Baron Clifford in 1754. He served as Lord-Lieutenant of Derbyshire from 1782 to 1811 but is best remembered [ 8 ] for his first marriage (1774) to Lady Georgiana Spencer (1757–1806), the celebrated beauty and society hostess.
