He married Dorothy Neville about 1550, in England. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 4 daughters. He died on 6 March 1597, in London, Middlesex, England, at the age of 69, and was buried in Cobham, Kent, England.
William Brooke, 10th Baron Cobham (1527–1597) William Brooke, 10th Baron Cobham (1527–1597), served as Vice-Admiral of Kent. He built the surviving two brick wings forming the west court, the south wing between 1584 and 1587 and the north begun in 1591.
