Vladimir Olgerdovich (Belarusian: Уладзімір Альгердавіч, Lithuanian: Vladimiras Algirdaitis, Polish: Włodzimierz Olgierdowic, Ukrainian: Володимир Ольгердович; died after 1398) was the son of Algirdas, Grand Duke of Lithuania, and his first wife Maria of Vitebsk.

The castle was built by Vladimir Olgerdovich, a progenitor of the Olelkovich family, in 1362. After being partially destroyed in 1648, in 1658 it was rebuilt as the Old Kyiv Fortress by the Russian city garrison.
