  2. 3 de jan. de 2023 · UC Law SF, formerly UC Hastings, is the new name of the law school that was founded in 1878 and has a new name that reflects its location and its history. The law school has a new name to honor its founder, Serranus Hastings, and to address the harms he committed against the Round Valley Tribes and Yuki People.

  5. The former UC Hastings College of the Law has a new name after Gov. Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill 1936, which removed the name "Hastings" from the school. The law school will begin using @uclawsf.edu as its email domain and website domain from July 24, 2023, and will continue its restorative justice efforts with California Native tribes and the Yuki Indians.
