University Challenge, hosted by Magnus Clarke, ran in Australia on the ABC from 1987 until 1989. In the 1988 series, the University of New South Wales defeated the University of Melbourne in the final by 245 points to 175.

5 de jul. de 2023 · One of the UK’s toughest quiz show returns to BBC Two and iPlayer – University Challenge! With 28 new student teams tackling questions on everything from aromatic compounds to Zeno of Citium.
The 51st series of University Challenge began on 12 July 2021 on BBC Two. The final aired on 4 April 2022 when Imperial College London and the University of Reading were declared the series winners and runners-up respectively.
