Biography. Luis Alfaro is a Chicano playwright born and raised blocks from USC in the Pico-Union district of downtown Los Angeles. Alfaro is the recipient of a John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation Fellowship, popularly known as a “genius grant,” awarded to people who have demonstrated expertise and exceptional creativity in their respective fields.
12 de jun. de 2024 · For the first time in its history, students attending the USC School of Dramatic Arts to receive their Masters in Fine Arts (MFA) in the acting and dramatic writing programs will be attending the university tuition-free starting in the 2024-25 academic year.
The School’s ambitious season of productions are designed and built by students under the supervision of a professional faculty and staff of designers and theatre technicians. The BFA is a professional degree program, which offers a conservatory approach to training.

Alexandra Billings is an assistant professor of acting at the USC School of Dramatic Arts, as well as an actress, singer, author, teacher and activist. Currently, Billings plays Davina on Amazon’s Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning hit TV show Transparent.
