26 de out. de 2019 · Toy Story 2 makes its UK 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray bow courtesy of Disney in the wake of their likely identical US release from earlier this year. Following the first film onto the format , it doesn't have quite the same uphill struggle to look glorious once again - the technology clearly advanced a great deal in the intervening 4 years, and the sequel cleans up in 4K very nicely indeed.
1 de jan. de 2006 · Toy Story 2 is a rarity in the world of sequels, it betters the original. Now not only does the movie better the original, but both these versions better their respective original release by quite a margin. The animation, though not cutting edge, is still very impressive but it is the story itself which stands the test of time.

The disc presents a native 3840 x 2160p resolution image in the widescreen 2.39:1 aspect ratio, and uses 10-bit video depth, High Dynamic Range, and is encoded using the HEVC (H.265).

Despite being - shockingly - almost 25 years old, they really have worked wonders with the source material, refreshing every frame for 4K with wonderful new colours and depths of colours that add texturing to even this older CG animation style.
