La Tour-de-Peilz liegt auf 385 m ü. M., 1,5 km südöstlich des Bezirkshauptortes Vevey (Luftlinie). Die Stadt erstreckt sich am Nordostufer des Genfersees, das auch als Riviera vaudoise bezeichnet wird, und auf den angrenzenden Hängen, am Fuss des Aussichtsberges Les Pléiades, in der Tourismusregion Vevey-Montreux.
