Todd Michael Hughes (born November 1966) is a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit . Biography. Hughes was born in November, 1966, in Delaware, Ohio. He graduated from Harvard College with an Artium Baccalaureus degree in 1989.

TODD M. HUGHES was appointed by President Barack H. Obama in 2013. Judge Hughes served as Deputy Director of the Commercial Litigation Branch of the Civil Division of the United States Department of Justice from 2007 to 2013. He was the Assistant Director in that office from 1999 to 2007 and a Trial Attorney from 1994 to 1999.

Todd M. Hughes was born in Delaware, Ohio in 1966. He received his A.B., cum laude, from Harvard College in 1989 and earned both his J.D. with honors and his M.A. in English from Duke University in 1992 with honors. Upon graduation, Hughes clerked for Judge Robert B. Krupansky of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
