After inheriting the lands of his step-grandmother in 1427, he was summoned to sit as Baron Morley in Parliament for the rest of his life. Returning to the war in France in 1429, he died on 6 December 1435 and was buried at Hingham, Norfolk .

He took part in the seiges of Rouen, 1418, of Melun, 1420, and Meaux, 1421-22. He was present at the death of King Henry V in 1422, and bore one of the banners at his funeral rites.

Thomas de Morley, 4th Baron Morley, KG (c. 1354 – 24 September 1416) was a baron in the Peerage of England, Lord of Morley, Hingham, Hockering, &c., in Norfolk, de jure Lord Marshall, hereditary Earl Marshal of Ireland, and a Privy Councillor. He was summoned to parliament from 20 October 1379 to 3 September 1416.
