Thomas Burgh, 1st Baron Burgh also spelt Borough, KG (English: / b ʊr æ /; BURRA; pronounced: Borough; c. 1488 – 28 February 1550), 1st Baron Borough of Gainsborough, also de jure 5th Baron Strabolgi and 7th Baron Cobham of Sterborough, was an English peer.

Burgh (Boroughs), Thomas (d. 1597), 5th Baron Burgh of Gainsborough , lord deputy of Ireland, was the second but eldest surviving son of William, 4th Baron Burgh, and his wife, Katharine, daughter of Edward Clinton, earl of Lincoln.
His father had never been summoned to the house of Lords, and there is no evidence that his grandfather sat in the House of Lords as Lord Burgh of Gainsborough, Thomas is numbered as the 1st Baron while in other sources he is numbered 3rd.
