The band currently consists of Alisa Xayalith (vocals, keyboards) and Thom Powers (vocals, guitars). [7]

The Naked and Famous é uma banda de synthpop neozelandesa formada em Auckland em 2008. [ 1] No mesmo ano, Thom Powers e Alisa Xayalith gravaram dois EPs com o engenheiro Aaron Short. Em 2009 juntaram com o baixista David Beadle e o baterista Jesse Wood.
The series, launched at IFC Center in 2005 and hosted by Thom Powers and Raphaela Neihausen, was formerly known as Stranger Than Fiction. It has a reputation as “a vital outpost for award-winning documentaries” (New York Times).
Thom Powers is DOC NYC’s Director of Special Projects, a role that includes overseeing the festival’s Visionaries Tribute. He was DOC NYC’s found Artistic Director and served in that position for 12 years. He also works as the documentary programmer for the Toronto International Film Festival now in his 16th year.

12 de nov. de 2013 · Thom Powers, guitarist and founding member of New Zealand electro-pop stars The Naked And Famous, took time out of the band’s busy schedule to have a chat with Jonathan Klein about their new album, amongst other things. The band’s debut album, ‘Passive Me, Aggressive You’ was recorded in the group’s homeland of New Zealand.
