“There’s Something About Mary” is the latest work by Peter and Bobby Farrelly, brothers whose earlier credits include “Dumb and Dumber” and “Kingpin.” Good taste is not their strong suit. “Dumb and Dumber” includes a scene where a blind boy realizes his parakeet’s head is held on with Scotch tape.
15 de jul. de 1998 · There's "nothing" about Mary that is entertaining. Stiller and Diaz are the main characters. It's a bit of romance, allegedly, but if you're looking for inspiration or chemistry or charm, forget it. Still, there's nothing wrong with the story. It's just dull.
After Ted finds Mary (he finds Healy kissing Mary. although secretly Mary is not too convinced by Healy's attitude towards the "retards" which borders on harassment), they begin dating. Just after Ted meets Mary, Tucker tells her that Healy is a mass murderer and has a police record in Boston. Mary is horrified and breaks all contact with Healy.
