The Story of Shirley Yorke is a 1948 British drama film directed by Maclean Rogers and starring Derek Farr, Dinah Sheridan and Margaretta Scott. The film was based on the play The Case of Lady Camber by Horace Annesley Vachell. It was made at the Nettlefold Studios in Walton-on-Thames.
A fantastic 40's melodrama about betrayal and murder has Nurse Yorke (a fabulous Dinah Sheridan) recovering from her own breakdown and going onto take care of the neurotic dying heiress Beatrix Thomson, discovering that her husband is old lover Derek Farr.

Posh nobleman Gerald Ryton (Farr) is suspected of killing his wife, millionairess Lady Camber (Beatrix Couper), but he points the finger of suspicion at his late wife’s nurse Shirley Yorke (Sheridan) who had given her a special new potion from her boss, the doctor Bruce Napier (John Robinson).
