This was captured in the 2006 documentary film The Holy Modal Rounders: Bound to Lose, which was directed by Paul Lovelace and produced by Sam Douglas. Weber later explained that he did not show up because he felt misrepresented by the filmmakers and was disappointed at the lack of attention directed to the band's days in Portland.
