The Diamond Queen was the second and final film in which Dahl and Fernando Lamas, who were married to each other from 1954-1960, appeared together.
With Arlene Dahl as Queen Maya. Set in late 17th-century France, a master jeweller miscuts a jewel meant for Louis XIV’s crown and is thrown into jail. His only hope of being let out is for his son to make his way to India, together with an associate of the court, to locate an extra jewel.
