Synopsis. Daniel Dillon (Peter Mullan) is an Irish immigrant who settled in Kingdom Come; that's a town founded in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California, back during the Gold Rush of 1849. It is now 1867, and Dillon has a vault filled with gold and is the owner of nearly every business of any importance in the town.
