The 'Glitter' side (the Tenement Symphony) was produced by Trevor Horn. The artwork was designed by Green Ink with a cover photograph by Klanger and Boink. The album cover mimics the style of German record label Deutsche Grammophon's classical records.

Description. • First ever deluxe expanded edition of Marc Almond’s landmark seventh studio album. • Originally released in 1991, this collaboration with Trevor Horn yielded three Top 40 UK hits! • Exclusive to this boxed edition are four unique CDs adding to a total 76 audio tracks, 34 of them never previously having been commercially released.
Almond then signed to WEA and released a new solo album, Tenement Symphony. Produced partly by Trevor Horn , the album yielded three Top 40 hits including renditions of the Jacques Brel classic "Jacky" (which made the UK Top 20), and "The Days of Pearly Spencer" which returned Almond to the UK Top 5 in 1992.
Marc Almond. Grand to the point of almost being grandiose — then again, what would one expect with an album that featured producer Trevor Horn on it on some cuts — Tenement Symphony is a sometimes strange but often compelling album that has some of Marc Almond’s warmest performances on it.
