"Surround Me" is the lead single by Swedish pop singer LÉON from her third studio EP of the same name, Surround Me (2017). It was released 7 July 2017 under Columbia Records. It is the first track released by LÉON without writing or production credits from former producing partner Agrin Rahmani.
"Surround Me" was written in 2017 by LÉON, producer Kurtis McKenzie, Jon Mills, and singer-songwriter Wrabel, and was produced by McKenzie.
LÉON stated that before writing the song, she and Wrabel "spent hours dissecting [her] state of mind." She recalled being "tired of being sad and writing sad songs." Though the rest of the project is contains "sad" songs, "Surround Me," LÉON noted, is the only one that is not inherently "sad." On being in the studio with Wrabel, LÉON said: "We played around on a grand piano and just jammed. The song was finished in like, an hour. Or maybe I blacked out during it."
The eponymous lead single, "Surround Me," was first teased on Instagram four days before release with the following lyrics: "Baby take me outside / Kiss me in the moonlight." The official single cover was revealed two days later. On 7 July 2017, is was officially released as the lead single and premiered via Hillydilly (now BeatRoute).
The official music video for "Surround Me," directed by Helgi & Hörður, was released a month later on 4 August 2017.

Surround Me is the third studio extended play by Swedish pop singer LÉON. It was released on 6 October 2017 under Columbia Records and marked her last major release under the label. Surround Me was LÉON's first major release without the involvement of longtime collaborator Agrin Rahmani.
