We are a boarding and day school for boys aged 4 -13. Set in more than 70 acres of stunning grounds, we are five minutes from the centre of Oxford and about an hour from London.
Summer Fields is a private boys' preparatory school in Oxford, founded in 1864 by Archibald Maclaren. It has a history of physical fitness, academic excellence, and notable alumni, such as Harold Macmillan and Anthony Asquith.
We aim to provide education of the highest quality, whether it be intellectual, moral, technical or physical. We seek to instil a love of learning in our boys, and we endeavour to offer them the fullest opportunity to stretch the boundaries of their individual ability.
