Something of Myself: for my friends known and unknown is the autobiography of Rudyard Kipling. Kipling wrote it in the last year of his life; the unfinished text was prepared for publication by his wife. It has remained in print since its first publication in 1937.

1 de dez. de 2016 · Joseph Rudyard Kipling's 1937 autobiography. This may not be the easiest of reads for the modern reader, as many of the words are no longer in common use, and Kipling, himself, created words frequently.
There is only one edition of Something of Myself, but the differences in detail between the text of the first printing and the text printed in the Outward Bound and Sussex Editions in 1937 and 1938 – the last texts that Mrs. Kipling is likely to have had anything to do with – are quite considerable.
