Sandown Bay Academy, formerly Sandown High School, was an academy status secondary school located in Sandown on the Isle of Wight, England. From 2012 to 31 August 2018 it was sponsored by the Academies Enterprise Trust. On 31 August 2018, the academy closed.

As the Executive Headteacher, I feel privileged to have the opportunity to lead the school in its next exciting phase of development. Set in the heart of Sandown on the Isle of Wight, The Bay Church of England School caters for ages 4 to 16 over two sites and offers an excellent and diverse provision for all.
14, May 2024. The Bay CE School was launched in September 2018, after Sandown Bay Academy was closed and re-opened federated with The Bay Primary school. Ministerial approval to close Sandown Bay Academy enabled plans to extend The Bay CE Primary to become an all through school from 1 September 2018 catering for students aged 4-16.
