Samantha: An American Girl Holiday (2004) Kindhearted Samantha Parkington's world starts to change the day Nellie O'Malley walks into her life. Nellie, her father, and her two little sisters have moved in next door to be servants for the Ryland family. Though they come from completely different backgrounds, Samantha and Nellie become fast friends.
I will say that Samantha is a more common doll than many others so you have a wider choice. I would go on Ebay (or the sales place of your choice) and look for a nice Samantha with lovely hair and buy her. I would imagine you should be able to get a darling one in a Samantha dress for around $40-45 plus shipping.
If there is nothing else…if they release only one item for her…please let it be the original Christmas dress with the heart-print lace. Everything else from her stories is pretty easy to find secondhand (or make), but I love the older Samantha illustrations and want a dress that’s faithful to them.
