The Royal Danish Defence College (Danish: Forsvarsakademiet; FAK) is an independent authority in the Armed Forces under the Armed Forces Commander's Defense Command, which provides training, research, advice, and consultancy services in core military areas.

The Royal Danish Defence College is divided into four branches: Staff Administration, Staff Support, Academies and the Faculty. The three Royal Danish Military NCO Academies are located in Varde (Army), in Frederikshavn (Navy) and in Karup (Airforce).
The high command of the Armed Forces encompasses the Chief of Defence and the Chief of Defence Staff, who are based in the Defence Command in Copenhagen.
