Ronald L. Rivest is a co-inventor of the RSA public-key cryptosystem and a founder of RSA, Verisign, and Peppercoin. He is also a professor of computer science at MIT and a member of its Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) and its Theory of Computation Group.
