Also, on a more person level, the Reagan Recession got my 60 year old dad laid off after working in the same place for 35 years.

If it is true that Harris doesn't really discuss the rumours about his bisexuality and the relationship with Avedon, then I am quite surprised, Harris is a very good journalist and usually very open about LGBT issues, so I wouldn't have thought he would be evasive about it when writing on Nichols.

Ron Jr. got through it by pretty much being the perfect child, but Michael, Maureen, and Patti were pretty much left out in the cold.

12 de nov. de 2020 · R239 Ron Reagan has always tried to be honest about his parents and his opinion of them from his political standpoint. He doesn't go out of his way to degrade them, but it's obvious he didn't agree with their politics.
2 de jun. de 2022 · He kind of reminds me of Ron Reagan Jr. in that given his career path, into progressive politics, he would come out if he were gay or bisexual. There would be no price to pay for it, and it would probably give him a little bit of publicity for it if it were true.
14 de mai. de 2021 · The rumors have been around for 40 or 50 years. I remember them from the 70s and Daddy was President and the family was wildly popular until Daddy decided to pardon Nixon unconditionally with no investigations which caused him to lose the following election.
