Robin R. Yount (/ ˈ j aʊ n t /; born September 16, 1955), nicknamed "the Kid" and "Rockin' Robin", is an American former professional baseball player. He spent his entire 20-year career in Major League Baseball as a shortstop and center fielder for the Milwaukee Brewers (1974–93).
Robin Yount is a Hall of Fame shortstop who played for the Milwaukee Brewers from 1974 to 1993. He won five AL MVP awards, four Gold Gloves, and led the league in triples, doubles, and hits multiple times.
