  5. 7 de fev. de 2024 · From him was descended Sir Edward Henry Lee, fifth Baronet, Colonel of the first Foot Guards, who was elevated to the Peerage as Earl of Lichfield, by letters patent, on the 5th of June, 1674; Robert, the fourth Earl, died on the 4th of November, 1776, without issue, when the earldom of Lichfield and minor honors became extinct.*

He died four years later, at Ditchley, as the result of a fall from his horse while hunting (the same fate had overtaken his fellow-member of the Beaufort Hunt and fellow-Jacobite, Sir Watkin Williams Wynn, in 1749).
