Robert Adrian Stringer CBE (born 13 August 1962) is a British music industry executive. He is served as the chairman of Sony Music Group and CEO of Sony Music Entertainment since 2017. He is also a director of Luton Town F.C .

In 2014, he signed the joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment CEO Doug Morris, who was replaced by Rob Stringer and launched Disruptor Records, Disruptor Management and Selector Songs. [4] The name "Disruptor" as described by Alpert, is "about shaking things up". [2]
