Rina has been collaborating and hanging out with the worst people lately. So disappointed in her and starting to question her allyship, was she only calling out Ratty Healy’s racism for her own gain as his label owns her masters? It seems very self serving right now. Ugh I hate it when my faves disappoint.
To me at least (and someone please correct me if i’m misinterpreting) it sounds like she’s saying that she doesn’t want to release another album under them because of the abusive conditions she’s been subjected to and the toll that working with them has taken on her health, not necessarily that the label is blocking her from releasing something.
