Richard Trevithick (Cornualha, 13 de Abril de 1771 — Dartford, 22 de Abril de 1833) foi um inventor britânico. [1] Filho de um capitão mineiro e nascido no coração da mineração da Cornualha, Trevithick mergulhou na mineração e na engenharia desde muito jovem.
