With Radio 5 bereft of any live sport in 2020 as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic, A Question of Sport stepped into the gap. Mark Chapman hosted, regular captains Matt Dawson and Phil Tufnell were joined by two guests playing from their homes. Spin-off series "The Question of Sport" aired on Radio 5 during 2022.
