Prosenjit Chatterjee (born 30 September 1962) is an Indian actor and producer. He is widely regarded as one of the leading actors in modern Bengali cinema. He predominantly works in Bengali cinema. He is the son of veteran Bollywood actor Biswajit Chatterjee.
Prosenjit Chatterjee is an Indian actor, producer and television presenter, who works predominantly in Bengali and Hindi language films. He debuted as a child actor in the Hrishikesh Mukherjee -directorial Chotto Jigyasa, for which he has won the Bengal Film Journalists' Association – Most Outstanding Work of the Year Award.

I find myself relate better to off-mainstream films because they are closer to real life. But I also love my Refugee, my Ei Ghar Ei Shongshar, my Bhalobashi Tomaake, my Tyag and my Sangram. These films have made me the Prosenjit that fans rush in to watch, never mind the quality of the film, the other actors, and the technical credits.
