Anne Shelton OBE (born Patricia Jacqueline Sibley, 10 November 1923 – 31 July 1994) was a popular English vocalist, who is remembered for providing inspirational songs for soldiers both on radio broadcasts, and in person, at British military bases during the Second World War.

Farnon was also revered as an arranger of quality popular songs, having influenced most of the top writers on both sides of the Atlantic during the second half of this century.

Because of his radio broadcasts, British listeners began to notice the bright, fresh Farnon sound, and Decca released one of the finest Light Music 78s ever recorded - "Jumping Bean" paired with "Portrait Of A Flirt" - near the end of 1948.
