27 de abr. de 2024 · Colbran and Rossini separated in 1837 as the composer began a serious relationship with the artists' model Olympe Pélissier in Paris. Colbran's health went into decline, perhaps as a result of contracting gonorrhea. She continued to live on her deceased father's estate in Castenaso near Bologna.

Career She sat for Vernet for his painting of Judith and Holofernes. Under the Bourbon Restoration, Pélissier had been a notable figure in Parisian society, admired by the Comte de Girardin, holding salons attended by Baron Schikler, and in 1830 having a liaison with Honoré de Balzac.
BIOGRAFIA. Gioachino Rossini nasce a Pesaro il 29 febbraio 1792 da Giuseppe, detto Vivazza, suonatore di corno e di tromba nella banda cittadina e nei teatri, e da Anna Guidarini, cantante, che svolse una breve carriera (1798-1808) nei teatri marchigiani e dell’Emilia-Romagna. Gioachino nella prima infanzia segue i genitori nelle tournées.
