Olave St Clair Baden-Powell, Baroness Baden-Powell GBE ( née Soames; 22 February 1889 – 25 June 1977) was the first Chief Guide for Britain and the wife of Robert Baden-Powell, 1st Baron Baden-Powell (the founder of Scouting and co-founder of Girl Guides). She outlived her husband, who was 32 years her senior, by over 35 years.

She was later known as Olave, Lady Baden-Powell, or The Dowager Lady Baden-Powell, having outlived her husband, Robert Baden-Powell the founder of Scouting and Girl Guides, by over 35 years.

Quarenta anos depois da carta, em 1959, Olave Baden-Powell veio ao Brasil, quando tinha exatamente 70 anos. Mas estava em pleno vigor um dos traços principais de sua personalidade: a capacidade de se interessar pelos jovens escoteiros e bandeirantes e estabelecer rapidamente um diálogo com eles.
Primeira presidente do Comitê Internacional do Movimento, Olave Baden-Powell foi também a responsável pela organização e fundação da Associação Mundial de Bandeirante – WAGGGS (World Association Of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts).
