Olave St Clair Baden-Powell, Baroness Baden-Powell GBE (née Soames; 22 February 1889 – 25 June 1977) was the first Chief Guide for Britain and the wife of Robert Baden-Powell, 1st Baron Baden-Powell (the founder of Scouting and co-founder of Girl Guides).

O pequeno Baden-Powell estava sempre metido em tudo que acontecia no pátio do colégio, e não demorou muito para se tornar popular pelas suas habilidades como goleiro da equipe de futebol de Charterhouse. Vale pontuar que também competiu pelo Ashburton Shield em Wimbledon, nos anos de 1874 e 1875, enquanto ainda estava na escola.
18 de fev. de 2024 · In Robert Baden-Powell, 1st Baron Baden-Powell. His wife, Olave, Lady Baden-Powell (1889–1977), also did much to promote the Girl Guides. In 1916 he organized the Wolf Cubs in Great Britain (known as Cub Scouts in the United States) for boys under the age of 11.
Olave Baden-Powell was the only person to ever hold the title of World Chief Guide. She helped her husband build the Scouting Movement, continued the development of the Guiding Movement, and formed the organisation that became the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).
